Class Fee includes two block patterns each month
Learn how to paper piece or improve your skills in this class. You will receive two new blocks each
month to add to your Paper Piecing Library of blocks. There are a total of 48 different blocks to stitch and collect for
your library of blocks
Sewing Machine Required? Yes. This class uses straight stitch only if you would like to use a Featherweight or other
straight stitch machine.
Suggested Notions/Tools?
Microtex 70/10 sewing machine needle. Always bring extra needles
Sewing machine thread top and in bobbin
Seam ripper, scissors and other regular sewing notions.
Paper Piecing Supplies:
1. Sewing thread top and bobbin
2. Microtex 70/10 needle – always have extra needles on hand
3. Carol Doak Paper Piecing Foundation Paper
4. Add a Quarter Ruler (6”)
5. Post Card
6. Flower Head pins (pin heads need to be flat)
7. Small rotary cutter and mat
8. Wooden iron or wooden roller press
9. Seam Ripper
10. Fabric Glue Pen (optional)
Fabric Requirements? You can start out with a few fat quarters until you decide what fabrics you would like to use for
your quilt.
