Class Title: Intro to Paper Piecing - Rainbow Star with Rose Day
Duration: Full Day Class
Description: This all-day workshop introduces the basics of foundation paper piecing in a supportive, step-by-step environment. Students will construct a colorful rainbow star while learning essential paper-piecing techniques, including pattern orientation, seam accuracy, and efficient fabric use. No prior paper-piecing experience is required, and skills learned can be applied to future projects of any size. The star block can be used on its own or as the foundation for a larger quilt.
Supply List for Class:
Sewing machine and required supplies for it
- Add a Quarter ruler is useful, but you can use any ruler you have
- Cutting mat and rotary cutters
- Fabric (as seen in image) - rainbow is a suggestion, but you can do any colors that suit you. You will receive a digital download of the fabric requirements when you register for class.
Skill Level: Beginner - Confident Beginner
