Class Title: Sashiko Sampler with Lisa Magnuson
Duration: Half Day Class
Description: Learn the fundamentals of sashiko, a traditional Japanese hand-stitching technique with a calming, therapeutic rhythm. You’ll practice basic stitch spacing and classic geometric patterns, and learn how to incorporate sashiko embroidery into quilting projects.
Working on a sampler, you’ll build confidence while enjoying a relaxed, social stitching experience. Everything you need will be available from the instructor—just sign up and attend. You’ll leave with the skills to continue exploring sashiko on your own.
Class Kit: Available for purchase from the instructor for $15; includes fabric, sashiko thread, and a needle.
