There is a $20 use fee for Derwent Inktense pencils or blocks, payable directly to the instructor.

- Fabric kit: $48.00 includes fabrics for top and binding
- Derwent Inktense pencils or blocks: Sets available to purchase. These are also available on Amazon, Blick Art Supplies and Jerry’s Artarama.
- Laura Heine Micro Serrated Scissors: $40.00 if you don’t have your own.
- Steam-a-Seam 2 : $6.00/yard
- Instructor will provide Aloe, Water Brushes, pencils
- Instructor can supply backing, batting, and finish long arm quilt Collage for $35
Fabric requirements below if you choose to bring your own stash.
- About 1⁄2 yard total of 6-7 different blue fabrics for the blue portion of the flag. Can have a slight print or plaid pattern but not overwhelming. One should be a large-scale blue flower. All should be medium to medium-dark values.
- 8” x 22” of a white floral fabric for the cuttable overlay over the flag.
- About 1⁄2 total of 4 different dark cream fabrics with a slight print.
- About 30” of 8 light creams to white fabrics with a slight print to them
- About 1/3 yard total of three different dark red fabrics with a slight print to them
- About 1 yard total of 11 different medium red fabrics with a slight print to them
- 4” WOF of light gray for flagpole
- 6 yards 24” Steam-a-Seam 2
- 1⁄2 yard of fabric for the background
- 1⁄4 yard of fabric for the binding
Additional supplies not included in the kit:
- 1 2/3 yards of fabric for the backing
- Derwent Intense pencils or blocks
- Applique Mat and ruler
Skill Level: Confident Beginner
