Accessibility
We want every quilter to be able to use this site, whether you are shopping with a mouse, a keyboard, a screen reader, or a phone screen you are holding in one hand.
What we have done
We had our site reviewed and corrected in August 2026. Specific things that changed:
- Buttons that had only an icon and no words now announce what they do to screen readers, so closing a window or clearing a search makes sense if you cannot see the icon
- A skip to content link now appears when you start navigating with the keyboard, so you can jump straight past the menu to the page itself
- The pages carry proper landmarks and heading structure, so screen reader users can move around by section instead of reading everything top to bottom
- Our FAQ page uses a correct heading order
What we are aiming for
We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We are not claiming we have met every part of it. Parts of our site come from outside tools and suppliers that we do not directly control, and we are working through those as we find them.
Where we know we fall short
Some product images still need better descriptions, and a small number of features that come from third-party apps are not fully keyboard accessible yet. We are working on both.
