"Fall Aflutter is a terrific pattern that comes together easily with Fat Quarters. You can elect to make leaves in four colors has designed or go with anywhere from one to many different colors. This would be a great quilt to go really scrappy or planned as shown on front cover. The leaves come together with strip piecing and making specific cuts with the Corner Pop ruler. You will continue to strip pieced and use the Tucker Trimmer to make the fantastic pieced Inner Border.
Michelle elected to have her leaves be Orange, Blue, Green and Pink/Red, as those colors fall on the opposite side of the color wheel from one another and will really make this quilt pop. If you wanted something calmer, select colors that are next to each other on the color wheel, such as Red, Orange, Yellow and Green.
