September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and marks the return of Ryan’s Case for Smiles’ biggest campaign of the year: Miles of Pillowcase Smiles! Throughout the month, volunteers across North America are coming together with one bold goal: sew 40,000 pillowcases—one for every child receiving cancer treatment in the United States.
Join us at Bits n' Pieces to contribute to this event! Attendees have the option to sew or contribute in other ways as a "helper" at the event. For those hoping to come and sew, please either bring your own machine for use or we have machines available to borrow. We will provide all pillowcase kits and have irons, ironing boards, cutting mats etc.
