h+h Americas 2025 Roundup

Liz is back from h+h Americas with all the updates and latest happenings from the quilting world. The h+h americas trade show has become our must-attend event to see all the latest and greatest, and this year did not disappoint! The 2025 show brought plenty of fresh creativity and ideas to the table. We did videos as we went, so you can see the playlist from our travels on our YouTube channel here, and keep reading to see the roundup of our finds.

Shannon Fabrics introduces Quilting Cuddle.

Shannon Fabrics, the makers of our favorite Cuddle fabric introduced a new low-pile version designed especially for quilters. Known for its ultra-soft texture, traditional Cuddle can sometimes be challenging to work with due to its thicker pile. This new low-pile variation offers the same plush feel but with easier handling, making it ideal for quilting projects. Watch the video here.

In the Beginning Fabrics shows off beautiful new fabrics.

Jason Yenter and In the Beginning Fabrics has done it again. We always love their border prints and make so many beautiful quilts with their fabrics so the upcoming Luna fabric line is very exciting. Watch the video here.

Patchabilities has fun new patterns!

We met up with Julie from Patchabilities to see her beautiful booth and her new quilt patterns. We loved the Big Frank pattern for Halloween. Take a tour of her booth at h+h here and tell us which one is your favorite.

We ran into quilty friends!

One of the best things about going to any show is catching up with and running into all the friends you never get to see. We met up with our friend Amy from Amy’s Quilt Room in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Meet her with us here

Then drumroll please, we saw Jackie O'Brien, our Keynote Speaker for the New England Quilt Expo 2026! She's a certified Studio 180 Instructor, but she also makes amazing one-block-wonder quilts. We're so excited to have her come to the New England Quilt Expo next year. Make sure you sign up for our newsletter so you can learn all about the Expo and get tickets first! And see our chat with her here.
